    The main religion practised in Thailand is Buddhism with almost 95% of the population identifying as such. There are also other religious groups in the country such as Muslims and Hindus.

    There are over 74 languages in Thailand, including local dialects. However, the official language is Thai or Siamese Thai, and is spoken by over 80% of the population.
