Maryland Tourism Coalition celebrates National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) after its 40th anniversary

Since the advent of NTTW, MTC (Maryland Tourism Coalition) has celebrated the 40th anniversary of the event from May 7 to May 13. The theme of the event was Travel Forward in Maryland, which promotes the role of travel in promoting the future growth of the state and country. The event will feature a social media campaign, 40 Reason We Love Maryland, to raise awareness of the event on different platforms.

About National Travel and Tourism Week

The NTTW was established in 1983 and became an annual tradition for the US to promote and celebrate the role of the US travel community in the betterment of the country. They celebrate the role of the community in curating new and high-quality job opportunities, overall economic growth, the rise of business activity, and improving the quality of life of all the people in the area.

The MTC (Maryland Tourism Coalition) associated with several other partners to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the event since its advent. This year 30 million people reached the event, with 130+ engaged elected officials. The event celebration was a success, as there were 2000 + media mentions and 140+ million impressions.
